Jared Brandon led Canyon Springs High School of North Las Vegas to the Nevada state championship in 2011.
“Jared is a long, rangy guard who can play all three positions on the perimeter,” said Associate Head Coach Andy Newman. “He has good size and strength for a guard and has a real knack for scoring in the lane.”
Brandon averaged 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists as a senior for Canyon Springs. In the 82-47 win over Reno’s Bishop Manogue in the state 4A title game, he had 18 points and 8 rebounds. His team went 29-2 with a 13-1 league mark.
